Participation H2020 project

Earlier this month, DSBP has a received a great news! Together with other European institutes, companies and semi-governmental agencies as well as Chinese partners, our joint proposal for the H2020 (RIA) New Biotechnologies to Remediate Harmful Contaminants has been selected. The project “ Enhanced and Innovative In Situ Bioremediation for Contaminated Land Remediation (EiCLaR) ” awarded by European Union will kick off in 2021, coordinated by Ecole Centrale de Lyon (ECL), Université de Lyon and R3 Environmental Technology Ltd. 

Dutch Sino Business Promotions is proud to partnering with the consortium dedicated to research on innovative soil remediation technologies. Our major role will be (but not limited to) providing expertise in engaging the Chinese stakeholders, mapping market interests, facilitating collaborations between European and Chinese organizations, and result sharing at key events. We believe DSBP’s  network and market experiences in both China and Europe has prepared us well for this project, therefore, we look forward to contributing to a successful H2020 project for the next few years with our partners.

Province of Zuid Holland Chinese New Year Online Reception Feb 25, 2021

Province of Zuid Holland Online Reception 2021

Province of Zuid-Holland traditionally organizes a Chinese New Year reception at the beginning of the year. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, a physical reception is currently not an option. Instead, together with InnovationQuarter and Dutch Sino Business Promotions, an online Chinese New Year reception will be organized in the afternoon of 25 February, one day before the Lantern Festival, the closure of the New Year Celebrations.

The King’s Commissioner Jaap Smit and new Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. TAN Jian are invited to deliver keynote speeches. Upon two keynote speeches, Miranda van den Ende from TomatoWorld will give a presentation about the sustainable food production of the Dutch horticultural sector, and Xiaoling Sun from InnovationQuarter will give the other presentation about the general facts of Zuid-Holland Province, in order to let Chinese guests and residences here have a better impression of the region. 

After all speeches and presentations, thanks to the function of Zoom meeting, guests will be allocated to a few small chat rooms for chitchat. We want to use this way to create an atmosphere of a physical reception as much as possible. 

The reception will be ended by an online quiz about Zuid-Holland. The top three winners of the quiz will be given a small gift box, sponsored by InnovationQuarter and TomatoWorld.
