The development of the agricultural sector remains a priority for the Chinese government and rural areas will keep receiving governmental investments and policy support in the coming years. This governmental attention will also influence and steer a flow of private capital into the Chinese agricultural sector and rural areas. Next to for example real estate investors, also investors such as Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group and one of the most influential Chinese business leaders, have found their way into the agri-/ horticulture sector. DSBP coordinated a business meeting between Jack Ma and Anthura, a leading Dutch flower company in Bleiswijk, on October 25th.
