The technical actions constitute the rider’s technical score. The technical score is 320 points, plus a comprehensive score of 20 points, and the total score is 340 points.

The referee scores at three points, H, C, and B. Combining the scores of the three points and performing percentage conversion to obtain the final score of each pair of men and horses. The scores of the three pairs of centaurs with the highest scores for each team are added together to determine the ranking of the team. Most of the participating horses at the National Games of China which were ridden were Dutch KWPN horses. This comes due to its conformation, abilities, willingness, and reliable temperament. The KWPN horses are well suited for work both under saddle and in harness for the needs of the equestrian population in China.
