Floriske Deutman-Bodisco Massink (1977) holds two master degrees in Sinology and International Business. During her studies, she lived in Shanghai for half a year. Prior to becoming partner at DSBP, she worked as manager China desk at Science Alliance, as management consultant for IG&H Management & Interim, and as junior advisor and secretary at the Interprovinciaal Overleg, platform for the Dutch provinces. She speaks Dutch, English, Chinese, French and German.

Floriske has the ability to connect people and business. She truly understands the needs and objectives of clients and can think along with them in order to achieve their goals. She has many years of experience in guiding and advising Dutch companies entering the Chinese market.

Nan Su

Born into a Chinese diplomatic family and raised in Beijing until the age of 18, she pursued her academic journey at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, obtaining both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Business and Economics in 2006. Following her graduation internship at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in Rotterdam, she went on to establish Dutch Sino Business Promotions.

Fluent in three languages—Chinese (Mandarin), English, and Dutch—she possesses extensive experience advising Dutch and Chinese businesses. Drawing on her years of expertise in bilateral business relationships, she has a keen understanding of the growth needs for companies from both nations.

In collaboration with our clients, Nan will play a key role in formulating an effective China strategy tailored to meet specific objectives, whether China is viewed as an end-user market or a sourcing market for their business.

Shaw Qin

Shaw Qin, a native of Shanghai, the bustling business hub of China, embarked on his academic journey in 2008. After spending 19 years in his hometown, Shaw relocated to the Netherlands for his university studies. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and later attained a Master of Science degree in Urban Management and Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Simultaneously, Shaw actively engaged in the China-related initiatives of the Province of South-Holland since 2012, beginning with his internship. In 2013, he became a part of DSBP, initially as a project assistant and later progressing to the role of project manager.

Shaw specializes in facilitating various services for clients, including organizing outbound and inbound delegations, conducting business surveys, and providing English-Chinese translation services.

Daisy Zhang

Yujia (Daisy in English) was born in Chengdu, in the Sichuan province. At the age of 18, she commenced her academic journey at China Agriculture University, majoring in Land Resource Management and earning a dual Bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance. During her university years, she served as the Director of the Communication Department in the Student Union, contributing significantly to her versatile development.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Daisy chose to pursue Urban Management and Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtaining a Master’s Degree of Science.

With her educational background in urban management, agriculture, environment, and financial analysis, Daisy actively engages in researching and exploring potential opportunities across various levels. Her comprehensive understanding not only addresses practical issues but also aids in investigating additional information in related fields.

Chayenne van Dijk

Chayenne accomplished her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Organization, specializing in Executive Office Management, at Schoevers in 2020. Throughout her four-year studies, she undertook annual internships, including one at DSBP. These experiences provided her with a diverse range of organizational exposure.

Upon completing her degree, Chayenne joined DSBP as an office manager in September 2020. In this role, she undertakes secretarial and various support activities for DSBP. Proficient in both Dutch and English, Chayenne brings strong communication skills to the workplace.

Julia Seidel

In 2019, Julia successfully completed her master’s degree in Asian Studies, with a focus on political, economic, and societal challenges in the region. Following her academic pursuits, Julia garnered valuable working experience in roles such as an accountant and administrator with Dutch companies.

Originally from Germany, she has also lived in Hong Kong and Singapore.

As an advisor at DSBP, Julia seamlessly blends her in-depth knowledge of Asian affairs with her practical work experience, contributing a well-rounded perspective to her role.

Dix Xiong

With a solid two-year tenure at our Shanghai office starting in 2019, Dix has recently transitioned to the Netherlands, where he continues to passionately advance DSBP Consultants’ vision.

Dix holds a bachelor’s degree in English and education from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in social sciences at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in public policy and socio-economics. Having resided in various cities across China, the Netherlands, and Australia, Dix has dedicated himself to fostering bilateral trade in both political and economic spheres. His diverse background equips him with a wealth of knowledge and extensive project management experience spanning industries, cultures, and disciplines.

At DSBP Consultants, Dix focuses on consulting service projects spanning China, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates. His expertise encompasses various domains including government relations, agriculture/horticulture, new energy, and sustainable development. Dix excels in engaging with clients on multifaceted demands, consistently driving value enhancement initiatives.

Keshan Liu

Keshan Liu is from Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and she is currently doing her second master’s program in Urban Management and Development at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

She completed her first master’s degree in Urban Planning from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2022.

Her research focused on transportation planning and urban spatial structure, with more involvement in practical application projects such as urban design, urban community renewal, and land preparation.

Through her in-depth exploration of urban planning in China and the West, Keshan has gained a deeper knowledge of planning policies, governance models, and infrastructure planning in China and the Netherlands.

Rachel Zhou

Rachel Zhou, born in 1983 in Jiangsu, China, has an academic background with a Master’s degree in Cognitive Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in English Education with a minor in International Trade from Shanghai Normal University. Additionally, she pursued studies in German at ECNU and took courses on Management Consultancy & Entrepreneurship at SJTU, earning certification as a National Intermediate Economist.

With almost a decade of work experience in the Sino-Dutch government and business sector, gained at the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and Rotterdam Commercial Representative Office, Rachel possesses a comprehensive understanding of the needs on both sides. She demonstrates the ability to mobilize actions and resources to facilitate consensus-building in the best interest of clients.

Beyond her professional commitments, Rachel is involved in various social projects as a volunteer. She is also a licensed National English Tour Guide, reflecting her diverse interests and community engagement.

Nick Hong

Nick Hong is a distinguished Senior Advisor specializing in agriculture. He earned his degree from the Agriculture College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1983, and subsequently devoted over 12 years to impactful research at the Shanghai Agriculture Academy of Sciences. Furthermore, he brings with him an impressive tenure of more than 24 years as an Agriculture Officer at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai.

Nick is recognized for his expertise in international business within the agro-food sector, reflecting his extensive knowledge and experience in the field.

Minzhi Pan

Minzhi graduated with a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from the University of Manchester.

She studied German Language and Literature during her bachelor studies and also studied International Business at Hochschule Bremen in Germany.

She has experience in assistant roles in different organizations and is working as a part-time translator.

Minzhi is a cross-cultural communicator and she is actively involved in international exchanges. Her role at DSBP Consultants involves a variety of tasks, including assisting with delegation programs and event preparation. She is passionate about building strong relationships across borders.
